HOMED - Palomino gelding approx. 2 years old. He's friendly, quiet, leads, lunges, picks up feet, just under 12 h.h. Will make a beautiful childs riding pony due to his super quiet nature and great to handle and can brush all over.
To rescue Dancer we bid against the 'kill buyers' at the Pakenham sales on 4th Feb 2019. We saved 4 horses this day and dancer was also lucky we were there! He is a beautiful pony and would not be alive today if we had not stepped in.
He has been assessed and worked with by one of our trainers so we can tell you exactly what he is like and ensure you he is suited to you! That's the beauty of adopting from rescues! And when one of our horses is homed we can go back to the sales and rescue another!

Calling for a foster home!! This little guy, Dancer, is the sweetest little fella and is sooo relaxed, although he is only 2!🐴
He started out as Pen 44 at Pakenham and fortunately for him we were there on the 4th Feb this year and bid against a kill buyer for him!😢
We know he was someone’s loved gelding because they spent money having an operation on his nostril but we don’t understand then why he was tossed away at the sales! It’s heartbreaking!💔
😄But he is with us now and we adore how chilled this little fella is. He is not at all traumatised, has learnt no bad habits and is a blank canvas and very responsive to his horsey lessons so far! He will make an awesome and we expect bombproof little pony with the right work put into him now. That is his cool, calm and collected personality!
He has had a bridle and saddle on him and his feet can be picked up no problems but we need someone to slowly continue with his progress for a few months.
During a recent training session our trainer noticed during the walk, whilst being led, his stifle was locking. He definitely wasn't doing it on the previous day and this can appear in young growing horses and the right exercise can help alleviate the problem.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in young untrained horses, have a sandy area to work in with Dancer and ideally be located close to Yinnar South or Langwarrin and surrounding areas. We believe he will need only a few months but will allow up to 12. He will also need to be worked regularly.
If this sounds like you please message us and we will be happy to discuss in more detail.💟💟
